Greetings everyone,
It is with great sadness that I inform you that due to the need for me to attend to the health care of my mother and sister, I must leave our dear Brent Baguio and return to New Zealand! I will not return after the Christmas vacation. I know however, that the school is in good hands and will continue to grow from strength to strength. I hope to come up to Baguio to visit some time.

In the meantime, it is business as usual for Lower School.
Please take note of the coming events:

Twelve Days of Christmas concludes on 5 December
This is the Lower School’s annual community service outreach. All students have received a detailed description of items to bring each day during this time.  

Lessons and Carols Sunday 4 December
The junior choir is well into rehearsals for the school/community-wide Lessons and Carols.

Community Outreach 8 December 9-11am
This is the day when our little visitors come to Brent to enjoy some games and snacks, and a visit from Santa.  The bags which have been so lovingly put together are given on this day.

Christmas In Reverse 8-9 December
Also now well into production mode is our annual Christmas presentation.  All students take part and there are a number of singing and spoken roles. This year, responding to parent requests, the school will run two performances, a matinee on Thursday 8th December, and an evening show on Friday 9th December. You will be notified of costume requirements, after-school rehearsals and call times.
Assemblies.

Please take note the the assembly on Dec 6th is a closed assembly to enable students to rehearse for ‘Christmas in Reverse.’. Thank you in advance for honoring our desire to keep the show a surprise for you.

Final week this semester
All students in Grade 1-5 will be involved in end of semester and end of unit testing this week, so please do not plan on taking early holidays.
