As we are winding down towards the end of the school year, it is a good time for us to reflect on the lessons we have learned and the successes we have experienced over the last few months. I know for myself, my new role has come with a steep learning curve and some lessons hard learned, but overall, I feel we have had a very successful school year, and we should all be proud of ourselves for accomplishing what we did this year. What kind of lessons have you taken away from our year together? What can you celebrate?
We still have a few events to look forward to, with our upcoming Science Fair, Medical Mission, and music recital to name a few. We wish our seniors good luck in the Final Exams, which start April 27th—I know they are glad to have a tough year of school almost behind them; the end is in sight!
Just as a reminder, our Middle and Upper School exams will run May 23rd-25th, with our Awards Assembly and Moving Up Day on the 29th where students will receive their report cards, and Graduation Ceremony for the seniors on the 30th.
I want to encourage everyone to finish strong; do what you still can to work towards achieving those goals you have set for yourself. I wish everyone a very enjoyable summer break, and I look forward to seeing old and new faces in the 2018-2019 school year.
Yours in Education
