Hello and welcome to all,
It’s wonderful to see so many shining faces returning to our beautiful campus; I am very excited to be starting a fresh school year in a new role. And I’m sure the students are excited to be starting new classes with new teachers. I hope everyone has had a restful summer break, and is ready to hit the books–It’s going to be a wonderful school year.
Take this opportunity to set some goals for yourself—they’re easier to achieve when you have a clear vision of what they are, and when you get off to a solid start.
A special welcome to our new students this year; I’m certain that you will find a place to belong here at Brent Baguio. Also, a special welcome to our new faculty this year; Andrew Treherne, who will be teaching middle school math; Isabel Stokes, who will be teaching middle/upper school English; and RJ Jensen, who will be teaching upper school math and physics.
We’ve had some exciting developments over the summer—our little theater, music room, gymnasium, and a couple of our classrooms in Ogilby Hall have gone through some renovations. We’ve also got a new residence building here on campus.
A big thank-you to all our staff who worked hard over the summer to get everything ready for the arrival of our students—the campus looks fantastic.
Parent and guardians, please be on the lookout for your tea party invitations. This is an opportunity to meet your child’s homeroom teacher and hear a bit more about the school year to come. We will also be asking for parent homeroom reps to help us relay information throughout the school year. As always, a big thank you to our parents and guardians who support our students so well throughout the year.
I wish everyone an outstanding first semester!
